The Flag of Ukraine is a bicolour featuring equally sized horizontal bands of blue and yellow. This design has been used since the 1848 Spring of Nations when it was hoisted over Lviv Town Hall, marking a significant moment in Ukrainian history. The flag was officially adopted as a state symbol for the first time in 1918 by the short-lived West Ukrainian People's Republic and subsequently used by the Ukrainian People's Republic.

During Ukraine's time within the Soviet Union, this bicolour flag was outlawed, and the flag of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic took its place. However, following Ukrainian independence in 1991, the blue and yellow flag was provisionally adopted for official ceremonies before being officially restored on January 28, 1992.

Today, Ukraine celebrates the Day of the National Flag on August 23, highlighting the significance and enduring importance of this national symbol. Our affordable replica captures the essence of this iconic flag, making it perfect for any display or collection.
