The flag of Pakistan features a dark green field with a white crescent moon and five-pointed star at its center, alongside a vertical white stripe. This design was adopted in August 1947 by the All-India Muslim League and has remained unchanged as the national flag since then. It is widely flown on important days such as Republic Day, Independence Day, and Defence Day. The flag is also hoisted daily at schools, offices, and government buildings to the tune of the national anthem. Pakistan's flag has become an iconic symbol representing its rich history and cultural heritage.
