COOK ISLANDS FLAG

  • Size: 150cm x 90cm (5 feet x 3 feet)
  • 2 x Metal Eyelets
The flag of the Cook Islands, also known as the Cook Islands Ensign, is a captivating symbol of this Pacific nation's heritage and identity. The design features a blue ensign with the Union Flag in the upper left corner, representing the historic ties to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth of Nations. On the right side, fifteen stars form a circle, each star signifying one of the fifteen islands that make up the Cook Islands archipelago: Tongareva, Rakahanga, Manihiki, Pukapuka, Nassau, Suwarrow, Palmerston, Aitutaki, Manuae, Takutea, Atiu, Mitiaro, Mauke, Rarotonga, and Mangaia. The blue background symbolizes the surrounding ocean and the peaceful nature of the Cook Islands people.

The current design was adopted in 1979, replacing an earlier version that had been introduced upon the islands' self-governing status in 1965. Our affordable replica captures this rich history and vibrant design, making it a perfect addition to any collection or display.
